TECHNICAL NOTES: The blade used in the Electric Ring Cutter is made of high speed steel.  The vast majority of jewelry rings that patient's wear are gold, silver and platinum which can readily be cut by our high speed steel blades.  For all of the metals listed above, the blade can be used repeatedly before replacement is required. 

Do not attempt to use any ring cutter on tungsten carbide jewelry.
